The Fastest Way To Make Money

I subscribe to a number of marketing newsletter email lists. 15-20 a day come in sometimes. I like to keep up with all the tricks of the trade that can be gleamed from them, through the marketing of their or their friends/partners/joint ventures(JV) products.

Having been watching these for months, I see a lot of 'trends' being pushed with great vigor, such as pushing Joint Venture(JV's) with other marketers, One Time Offers(OTO), Private Label Resell(PLR) articles, and so on.

These products usually talk about the same ideas on making money:

    Blogs
    Pay Per Click
    SEO
    Clickbank
    Pay Per Lead
    Article Marketing
    email marketing
    Adsense
    Niche Marketing
    MySpace Marketing
    Membership Sites
    OTO's
    and so on…

One of the emails I received today, which I sorta like, is from a guy named Travis. His story in this email was about how people always ask him what is the FASTEST way to make money. He goes on to tell how this is hard to answer, but there is one set of three rules that, using any and all the above products, will allow you to make 'great bank.'

Those rules, which apply to online AND offline marketing are as follows:

  1. Learn how to find a HUNGRY crowd.
  2. Learn how to find EXACTLY what they are hungry for
  3. Learn how to find or make what they are craving and give it to them…

Simple, huh?

Yea, I thought so too. Simple to state but hard to use.

Things I have to keep telling myself when looking at products to market are:

There can be more than one seller of a single product.

That is why you see the same products at each grocery store. Just because one major chain has Wonder Bread does not mean that another major chain, or even a small store) cannot sell it also.

Just because something has been popular recently does not mean that it will die off soon, so no need to bother and market it.

Take iPods. Still lots of folks selling them. Same thing with cell phones, and many other products. These are things that will have a longtail demand for them, hopefully.

The opposite of the above statement is true also: Because something is popular now does NOT mean that it will continue to be popular.

You may have missed the 'wave' for that product. There is a great marketeer that goes by 'ShoeMoney' who made a good part of his fortune with cell phone ringtones. They were HOT! Now, however he recommends not to enter the market, as it is drying up (due to saturation, and legislature). All good things must come to an end.

So what to take away from reading this article is:

Finding the RIGHT product that people WANT RIGHT NOW is the key to making money fast.

Now, start your engines, find those keys, and market the heck out of them!

Thanks,
Rusty
